May 8 and 9, 2016

The Children’s Museum of South Carolina celebrates mothers with a special holiday weekend to honor the most important women in children’s lives. Saturday, May 7, we will host “Mommy and Me Mosaics.” Included in museum admission and membership, children and their mothers will create together a keepsake for Mother’s Day. We invite families to return Sunday, May 8, for a day at the museum with free admission for all mothers.

Join us May 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for a special night at the Children’s Museum of South Carolina! Invite your entire family for a memorable evening filled with fun as you explore, play, and learn together. Admission for this event is just $1 for Horry County residents and $3 for others.

10:30 am – 11:45 am

GINORMOUS fun for little ones is ahead at CMSC’s Toddler Takeover on May 30 at 10:30-11:45 am! Our youngest guests are invited to meet-and-greet with an Elephant friend, then participate in a special story time, activity, and craft especially for them. Members: Free Non-members: $3 add-on to museum admission.

June 18 and 19, 2016

Father’s Day Weekend is full of family fun at the Children’s Museum of South Carolina! Saturday June 18, fathers are invited to bring their kids to a special day of “Doodles with Dad.” Children and their fathers will draw and express themselves during this special art activity included in museum admission and membership. Dads who visit Sunday, June 19 will receive free admission to the museum.

Join the Children’s Museum of South Carolina as we welcome North Carolina-based author Stephenie Peterson, who will share her book “Nellie Nova Takes Flight”, an exciting story of a scientifically-gifted girl who goes on a time traveling adventure to meet Amelia Earhart and prove to her brother Niles that women can change the world! Be here at 11:00 am on June 25th and be a part of this special story time that will empower girls and boys of all ages to pursue STEM knowledge and make a difference.
