Candy Land Comes to Life!

The magical board game Candy Land will come to life at CMSC on February 15th from 9am-5pm for the sweetest time of the year! The delicious adventure begins traveling through the enchanting gummy hills and peppermint forest to King Candy’s Castle. Meet Princess Frostine and Gramma Gooey from Chocolate Mountain along the way, and watch out for the grumpy Lord Licorice as he sneaks through the Licorice Forest leaving the path with icky, sticky licorice! Collect scrumptious treats and take part in confectionery activities sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! General: $8 Local: $6 Members: Free

From 9 am – 5pm on the 5th of March, a Seussical celebration starts! For people big and small, Whoville at CMSC is an event for all. In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday and to celebrate Literacy Month in a whimsical way, the Children’s Museum hosts a Seuss-themed day of stories and activities to inspire the minds of readers young and old. Listen to the reading of a Dr. Seuss classic and join in a Seuss-themed activity every hour starting at 10:30am. All Whoville activities are included in museum admission. Members: Free, Local admission: $6, General admission: $8.
